Could not query update information

Recently purchased and installed Boxifier to work alongside Dropbox, syncing of files appears to be working fine however there is a constant popup and green bar that displays ‘Could not query update information’

Anyone else come across this before and know how to resolve the issue?

Are you using any proxy or Internet security/firewall software that is maybe blocking Boxifier from accessing the update servers?

Are you maybe on a corporate/university network with special connectivity rules?

Hi Razvan, yes, we are a school that is behind a proxy.

Is there perhaps somewhere we can enter proxy settings into Boxifier? Or does the software not support proxy setups altogether. There is no way around the proxy unfortunately.

Yes, there is something that can be done about this. Our team is adding improved proxy support very soon so I will update this thread here when it’s ready.
