Use Boxifier to sync Minecraft across computers?

I’d rather not use the symbolic links that Dropbox can do.

The thing is, Minecraft uses the folder c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\ and I don’t think it’ll work if I put remove it and put the folder into Boxifier. Maybe I’m misunderstanding how Boxifier works.

Does Boxifier remove the folder from its directory tree? Sorry for my ignorance.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Boxifier does not remove the folder from its directory tree. You keep your folders in their original locations. Simply right-click the folder and choose “Boxifier - Sync with Dropbox”.

On a second computer the folder would be initially downloaded to the Dropbox -> Boxifier folder but you can then install Boxifier on that computer and relink the folder with a location outside of Dropbox (such as the one you mentioned from AppData).
